***This pattern MIGHT require an industrial sewing machine depending on the thickness/type of the leather used. To test your machine, stack and sew THREE small scraps of the leather you will be using. If your machine sews THREE layers without any issues, you will be able to sew this wallet on your machine. NOTE: When sewing leather on a domestic machine, I recommend increasing the seam allowance and using a new leather needle.***

The Pearl Passport Wallet pattern is an "adventurous beginner" leather sewing pattern. If you are familiar with sewing bags, but new to sewing with leather, this is the perfect pattern for you. The pattern includes the recommended leather weights, step-by-step instructions for constructing the wallet, and printable pattern pieces for cutting many of the leather pieces. In addition, there are numerous full color photos to help guide you as you work through the pattern.
