How To Prevent Straps From Slipping Through Adjustable Strap Sliders

The thin-webbing example is a good reason to test the strap and slider together, not just match their stated widths. For someone planning one of our crossbody bag projects at Sewlore, I’d put a removable mark on the strap beside the slider and try the sample with the intended contents in the bag. Then I’d check whether that mark has moved before finishing the strap ends. It would be useful to keep the successful hardware and webbing combination together with the project notes.
